If you have a question that you do not find the answer to here, send us an email or DM us on Instagram or Facebook and we will answer it as soon as possible for you!
Q: When did you start making body butters?
A: Making body butters at home for myself is something I've done for a while but the end of 2018 is when I started making them with the hopes of sharing with others.
Q: What made you start this business?
A: I decided to start Topical Blends because I saw an area that was lacking and felt I could fill that gap with my own handmade products. Typical store bought lotions just weren't cutting it for me and I knew I wasn't the only one experiencing this.
Q: What is the most popular body butter so far?
A: So far the Classic Body Butter in Sweet Vanilla has been the most popular! Order some today and see what you've been missing out on.
Q: Can we expect more body butter scents in the future?
A: Yes of course! I am always looking to expand the range of products offered. If you have any particular scents or ideas of a scent you'd like to see in one of our body butters comment below or send a DM and let me know!
Q: Are body butters better for my skin than lotion? What's the difference?
A: Body butters seal moisture into the skin. Lotions, which are of lighter consistency, moisturize but they don't lock in moisture for as long as body butters do. Topical Blends' body butters are formulated to keep your skin moisturized for longer. Which is best for you all depends on personal preference and your skin's needs.
Q: I just got my body butter in the mail and it's melted! What do I do?!?
A: Body butters are sensitive to the temperatures they are kept in, so it is possible that during delivery they may melt in hot temperatures. If this happens do not worry, the product still contains all the same benefits. You can leave your body butter out in a cool setting or put it in the fridge to become firm again. After this you can use it as normal, but it may no longer be whipped. If you'd like that whipped feeling again you can also remix it with an electric whisk and then use as normal. Unfortunately, during the summer months it is difficult to maintain the whipped consistency of a body butter during transit, but we ensure you the product still has the same benefits even in its melted form.
